The Fufi-pad-ISM emergency call cushion enables particularly simple and reliable emergency call activation for people with severely impaired fine motor skills. By applying light pressure – for example with the hand, arm, head or upper body – help can be summoned quickly at any time.
The large 20x15cm activation zone ensures intuitive operation in everyday life and offers a safe alternative to traditional emergency call buttons. The cushion is ideal for use in bed, on wheelchairs or in rest areas, thereby increasing the safety of people requiring care.
Various mounting options are available. To test the trigger unit, each activation can optionally be acknowledged with an audible signal.
Thanks to modern ISM radio technology, the emergency call cushion can be flexibly integrated into existing systems and enables reliable alarm transmission to carers or relatives.
The LoRa Alarm Receiver signals the receipt of wireless alarms via periodic audible tones through a loudspeaker. These alarms are triggered by CoSi ISM emergency transmitters and transmitted over a distance of up to approximately 2 km via the ISM LoRa gateway.
The person receiving the alarm acknowledges it by pressing the device button, thereby resetting it at the same time. This triggers a voice announcement stating the exact reason for the alarm. In this way, for example, alarms triggered manually can be distinguished from automatic alarms, such as fall alarms, alarms from smoke or temperature detectors, motion detectors, etc. The announcements also specify which of the maximum of three possible ISM LoRa gateways received the current alarm. This allows alarms to be assigned to different buildings.
Thanks to an integrated battery backup, it is possible to disconnect the alarm receiver from the mains power supply for several hours and operate it, for example, in the garden. If the battery has discharged to a critical level as a result, users are also informed of this in good time via the loudspeaker.
Wireless range extension for CoSi ISM transmitters
The ISM-LoRa gateway enables the reliable transmission of wireless alarms over longer distances, thereby significantly extending the range of CoSi ISM wireless transmitters. It receives signals from energy-efficient transmitters in the 2.4 GHz ISM band and relays them via LoRa long-range radio to receiving units in neighbouring buildings. Depending on the building and landscape conditions, transmission is possible over a distance of up to approximately 2 km.
Integration is flexible: in conjunction with a LoRaWAN gateway, alarms can be forwarded directly to a CLAS server and then signalled, for example, via mobile CLAS end devices. Alternatively, stand-alone operation with a LoRa alarm receiver as the receiving unit is also possible.
The gateway features a loudspeaker and a device button. The loudspeaker can be used to confirm receipt of self-triggered alarms via a voice announcement to reassure users. The device button allows the quality of the radio connection to the receiving unit to be easily checked at any time and also communicated via a voice announcement.
Thanks to simple commissioning, integrated power failure protection and reliable wireless technology, the ISM LoRa Gateway is ideally suited for applications where alarms from any CoSi ISM wireless transmitters need to be reported over long distances.
Wireless receiver for extending the range of Ackermann Clino call systems
The AR-ISM provides a simple and reliable way to extend Ackermann Clino call systems with a high-performance ISM wireless interface. It connects to the call system via Plug & Play directly through the auxiliary socket on a room unit, allowing the device to be quickly integrated into existing systems.
It receives alarms from a wide variety of CoSi ISM radio transmitters – from manual emergency call transmitters to automatic sensors such as fall, smoke or motion detectors.
An additional SeCom interface and a potential-free normally open contact offer further application possibilities.
Wireless receiver for extending SeCom systems
The SR-ISM easily and reliably adds a high-performance ISM wireless interface to SeCom call systems. It connects via Plug & Play directly to the SeCom bus, allowing the device to be integrated into existing systems quickly and without complex installation.
It receives alarms from a wide variety of CoSi ISM wireless transmitters – from manual emergency call transmitters to automatic sensors such as fall, smoke or motion detectors. The device can be connected to the analogue SeCom dialler, the analogue RFID dialler and the IP dialler for connection to CLAS. The transmitters to be programmed can be flexibly assigned as SeCom radio transmitters, SeCom push-button transmitters or SeCom pull-cord transmitters.
Additional functions such as automatic monitoring of the transmitters’ battery status and optional connection options via potential-free contacts make the SR-ISM a versatile solution for modern care and security applications.
