The MESH gateway terminal forms the transfer point of an SR-ISM-WLAN MESH network to LAN for the purpose of data connection with the CLAS alarm server.

In the event of a failure of the LAN connection, the system independently switches to radio communication via LTE (4G).
If the CLAS alarm server cannot be reached via this connection either, the pending alarms are visualised directly via the device touch display. Here, they can be processed, escalated or reset by the nursing staff under menu control.

At the same time, the unit checks whether the LAN connection to the CLAS server is available again. As soon as this is available again, the alarm switches back to LAN.
