CoSi Location & Alerting System (CLAS)

With CLAS, CoSi offers a powerful and future-proof integrated emergency call and alerting platform for modern care homes, innovative healthcare facilities, the commercial sector, industry and public buildings, such as schools, nurseries and government offices.
The system combines traditional emergency call functions with modern wireless technology, mobile alerting and optional localisation in a central, flexibly scalable solution.

CLAS has a modular design and enables the integration of a wide variety of alarm sources. These include manual emergency calls via mobile or fixed transmitters, as well as automatic alarms, for example from fall sensors, anti-wandering solutions or technical monitoring systems. All events are processed centrally and forwarded specifically to the relevant recipients.

A particular advantage of CLAS is its modern, mobile alerting system. Instead of traditional fixed display units, alerts are sent directly to mobile devices such as smartphones. Via an app, the alerted individuals receive all relevant information in real time – including the type of alarm, priority and location details.

Thanks to the localisation function, alarms can not only be reported but also spatially assigned. Depending on the configuration level, precise positioning within buildings, including floor detection, is possible. This facilitates the rapid location of people and events, particularly in larger facilities.

CLAS supports both wireless and wired infrastructures and can be flexibly integrated into existing systems or operated as a standalone solution. External systems such as light call systems, alarm servers or other subsystems can also be connected via standardised interfaces. This makes CLAS suitable for both new installations and the gradual modernisation of existing systems.

CLAS complements its alerting functions with high-quality voice communication. Hands-free calls to people in need of assistance can be initiated within the app at the touch of a button. This works regardless of whether the alarm recipient’s smartphone is connected to a telephone system or the call is made via mobile network.

Another key focus is on simple commissioning and configuration. Many components are pre-configured and ready for immediate use. At the same time, the system offers extensive parameterisation options to optimally meet individual requirements. Changes and extensions can be made flexibly at any time via browser access.
