The FuFi-motion-ISM is used for mobile stand-up monitoring of physically frail persons who are at risk of falling when standing up.
The device uses infrared monitoring to detect when the monitored person is trying to get up by detecting when they let their legs hang out of bed or set them on the floor.
False alarms, e.g. caused by an arm hanging off the bed during sleep, are almost completely suppressed at common bed heights.
In care facilities, the alarm is sent via SR-ISM-WLAN radio gateways to the CLAS alarm server.
The photo shows the device including the bendable stand.
