The BWW3-869 Senior Emergency Call Dialler is used for external emergency call connection, from persons in assisted living or private households, to an Avaya SeCom Senior Emergency Call System in an assigned senior facility.
The device alarms via analogue telephone extension to the SeCom AVK. For communication with caregivers, alarm-specific announcements and a hands-free function are supported. The acoustic range of these can be changed by the carer during the call.
An integrated social frequency radio receiver unit enables the connection of radio-based alarm transmitters. The unit has a SeCom bus interface for connecting SeCom triggering devices. Various wired interfaces are available for additional functions.
The caregiver is identified via the integrated jack socket by means of a caregiver's latch. A built-in rechargeable battery bridges a power failure of up to approx. 24 hours, with a battery life of approx. 10 years.
