As an intelligent detection unit, the CDS detection unit forms the heart of the CDS anti-walkout system and enables the reliable detection of movement in the passageway. The system consists of an indoor and an outdoor module, which together accurately distinguish whether a person is actually leaving the protected area or is merely standing in the exit zone.

This intelligent differentiation significantly reduces false alarms whilst simultaneously enhancing security. The integrated LED display and an audible signal transmitter, when optionally activated, provide immediate visual and audible feedback directly at the installation site.

An integrated CDS server enables convenient, browser-based administration and is accessible remotely at any time. This allows settings to be flexibly adjusted and the system to be managed centrally.

The CDS detection unit can be deployed flexibly: it operates stand-alone with a local CDS alarm terminal, can forward alarms via interfaces to external alarm servers or light call systems, or can be operated as a module within the CLAS emergency call solution.

Thanks to wireless technology, installation is particularly straightforward and requires no major structural work. The robust design, featuring an aluminium frame and a UV-resistant external module, ensures long-lasting performance in a wide variety of environments.
